The Philadelphia Phillies are finalizing a deal to acquire right-hander Noah Syndergaard from the Los Angeles Angels, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan.

Earlier Tuesday, the Philadelphia Phillies acquired closer David Robertson and outfielder Brandon Marsh on Tuesday in separate trades with the Chicago Cubs and Angels, respectively.

The Angels will receive outfielder Mickey Moniak from the Phillies in exchange for Syndergaard.

The Yankees and Cardinals agreed to a last-minute Deadline Day deal that will send outfielder Harrison Bader to the Bronx and lefty Jordan Montgomery to St. Louis, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.

Neither club has confirmed the deal.

Curt Casali, the catcher who made 90 starts for the Giants over the past two years, is headed to the Mariners, according to Fansided. The return is reportedly AA pitcher Michael Stryffeler.

Pitcher Matt Boyd, who never appeared in a game for the Giants, is also headed to Seattle in the deal, according to NBC Sports.

The Mets replaced one right-handed bench bat with another on Tuesday, acquiring veteran Darin Ruf from the Giants for J.D. Davis and prospects, sources tell MLB.com.

Neither club has confirmed the deal.

The Twins struck a deal to acquire right-hander Tyler Mahle from the Reds ahead of Tuesday's Trade Deadline.

The deal sends a trio of highly regarded prospects to Cincinnati: 2B/3B Spencer Steer (Twins' No. 7 prospect, per MLB Pipeline), left-hander Steve Hajjar (Twins' No. 18) and corner infielder Christian Encarnacion-Strand (Twins' No. 23).

The Phillies and Cubs have agreed to a trade that would send reliable veteran reliever David Robertson to Philadelphia, a source told MLB.com's Todd Zolecki. The Cubs will receive the Phillies' No. 26 prospect, RHP Ben Brown, in return.

Neither club has confirmed the deal.

Hours before the Trade Deadline, Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer invoked his partial no-trade clause to reject his trade to the Nationals as part of the agreed-upon deal that has All-Stars Juan Soto and Josh Bell headed to San Diego, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand. But later in the afternoon, Feinsand reported that Hosmer is instead heading to the Red Sox.

Neither San Diego nor Boston has confirmed the deal, and the return is not yet known. Hosmer is owed $39 million from 2023-25.

Joey Gallo's tenure with the Yankees is at an end. New York has reached an agreement to trade the struggling slugger to the Dodgers for L.A.'s No. 15 prospect, right-hander Clayton Beeter, according to a report from Fan Nation's Pat Ragazzo.

The teams have not confirmed the deal, which is pending a review of medical records per multiple reports.

The Toronto Blue Jays strengthened their bullpen ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline, acquiring relievers Anthony Bass and Zach Pop from the Miami Marlins for a shortstop prospect, sources told ESPN's Jeff Passan.

The 34-year-old Bass, a right-hander who is 2-3 this season, is having a breakout year, pitching to a 1.41 ERA in 44 2/3 innings. He has struck out 45 and walked just 10.

Pop, 25, is 2-0 with a 3.60 ERA in 20 innings pitched. The Blue Jays drafted the right-hander in the 23rd round of the 2014 draft but he played collegiately at the University of Kentucky and went back into the draft in 2017.

The NL Central-leading Milwaukee Brewers acquired hard-throwing reliever and former No. 1 draft pick Matt Bush from the Texas Rangers on Monday night for infielder Mark Mathias and a top pitching prospect.

Bush is 2-1 with a 2.95 ERA and one save in 40 games this season, including five starting in an opener role. He hasn't allowed an earned run over his past 12 appearances.
